Abstracts COPA SAESP 2025 has record submission of papers

On February 21st, the deadline for submitting scientific papers to the Abstracts COPA SAESP 2025, and this year we have an excellent reason to celebrate: we received 791 submissions and broke our record from previous editions! 

Approved content that follows the rules of the regulation will be published in a special supplement of the Perioperative Anesthesia Reports (PAR). In addition, three papers classified as “Adverse Event” will be selected for presentation and discussion among experts during the congress.

“The presentation of Abstracts is a great opportunity for authors to give visibility to their studies, in addition to staying up to date and expanding their contact networks. We also remind you that complete manuscripts can also be submitted to PAR, which have open diamond access, that is, without charging fees”, explains Dr. Vanessa Henriques Carvalho, Scientific Director of SAESP.

Case reports are the majority

Among the works received, we had:

• 482 case reports;
• 219 systematic reviews;
• and 90 scientific researches.

Looking at the regions of origin, 38% were sent from the State of São Paulo and 62% from other locations in Brazil.

Deadline for poster submission extended to 31/3

The scientific committee is already carefully evaluating the works, and those approved will receive an email with confirmation – stay tuned!

Good news: the deadline for submitting posters of approved works has been extended until March 31st!
