Anesthesia in the spotlight: Dräger brings innovative solutions for the COPA SAESP 2025
At the São Paulo Congress of Anesthesiology, Dräger showcases the newly launched Vista 300 monitor and reinforces the global brand's commitment to advanced technology to improve life care
The company developed the anesthetic gas application system that changed medicine at the end of the 19th century, and remains a reference in cutting-edge hospital technology.
Dräger, a global leader in medical and safety technology, with a turnover of €3,4 billion in 2024, announces its participation in the 21st edition of the São Paulo Congress of Anesthesiology (COPA SAESP 2025) — one of the most important events in the specialty in Latin America. Dräger was the company that, in the late 1800s, developed the technology for applying anesthetic gases controlled by valves, which was a great leap forward in the history of anesthesia in the world, ensuring, for the first time, that patients received more appropriate doses of anesthesia, saving more lives.
For COPA 2025, Dräger announces the demonstration of its latest innovation in patient monitoring: Vista 300. Throughout the congress, healthcare professionals will get to know its functionalities, differentials and clinical benefits up close. With this participation, Dräger reinforces the company's commitment to innovation and the development of advanced technological solutions for hospital environments.
“Anesthesiologists across the country have the enormous responsibility of ensuring safety during anesthetic procedures and preserving the lives of patients who depend on the procedure. At Dräger, we believe that innovation must always go hand in hand with clinical excellence and operational efficiency. Being at the forefront of COPA 2025 is a valuable opportunity to share this vision with these professionals”, says Pedro Schneider, sales, marketing and services director at Dräger Brasil for the healthcare sector.
Vista 300: technology at the service of the patient journey
The Vista 300 monitor is an essential patient monitor for adults, children and newborns, designed to seamlessly integrate into the hospital environment. Designed for critical care environments, the Vista 300 represents a new generation of patient monitoring systems, offering seamless integration of bedside data into the Hospital Information System (HIS). It displays up to 13 waveforms in a configurable layout and provides a full suite of essential parameters, including ECG, noninvasive blood pressure, respiration and temperatures, and other advanced monitoring. The solution enables fast and secure access to clinical information throughout the entire patient journey—from the ED to the OR, from the Adult ICU to the Neonatal ICU—optimizing decision-making and workflows.
The main differences between Vista 300 are:
- Integrated visualization of vital signs, physiological parameters and data from devices such as ventilators and anesthesia stations, in an intuitive and customizable interface;
- Scalability and connectivity with the Monitoring Center and bedside monitors, allowing remote viewing and complete and collaborative hospital management;
- Data security with encryption, user authentication and secure integration with existing hospital networks;
- Comprehensive monitoring with advanced parameters such as bilateral Bis, TNM and QT/QTc interval measurement.
The solution stands out for centralizing, simplifying and protecting critical information, promoting not only patient safety, but also the productivity of clinical teams.
“Effective integration of clinical data is essential for making assertive decisions in critical environments. Vista 300 was developed to provide this connectivity, allowing medical teams to access vital information quickly, securely and intuitively, optimizing workflows and improving patient care,” concludes Schneider.

“Our goal is to provide technologies that exceed the expectations of healthcare professionals. Vista 300 is a clear example of how we combine innovation and practicality to improve hospital efficiency and, most importantly, patient safety and well-being,” Schneider highlights. “With advanced monitoring and integration capabilities, it provides healthcare professionals with accurate, real-time information that is essential for clinical decision-making,” he adds.
